Far, quiet, peaceful. Two hours upstream from Leticia in fastboat, Puerto Nariño is a small town of few thousand souls mainly from Ticuna, Huitoto and Cocama native tribes. Everything is recycled in the town and no car or motorbike is allowed. At dusk people meet at the main square to chat, eat, socialize. With tourism growing fast, doubling every year in the region, Puerto Nariño is definitely an inspiring model for the other communities along the Amazon. / Charles Mordret @canadienerrant #photodiary #amazonia #colombia
