Santurce, Puerto Rico. Yesterday, was a looooong night. She is an old friend of me, Kianí del Valle @kianidelvalle, a Puerto Rican contemporary dancer based in Berlin. Right now she works between Berlin and London doing contemporary dance and dance film. She is in Puerto Rico working with a group of muses on a dance piece based on Federico García Lorca’s “The house of Bernarda Alba”. Always, I love spending time with other artists that inspire me. “Moon, moon, moon, run!If the gypsies come, they will use your heartto make white necklaces and rings.””Let me dance, my little one. When the gypsies come, they’ll find you on the anvilwith your lively eyes closed tight.”Moon, moon, moon, run!I can feelheir horses come.””Let me be, my little one, don’t step on me, all starched and white!” “Ballad of the moon” poem by Federico García LorcaThis is @alvarosski posting on @burndiary.
