Howdy Folks, this is @zambereileen posting from the mountains of Southern Oregon. We spent much of the day working at the ranch and checking to make sure the fence lines were secure. In this shot my husband, Zachary, is giving our two Dexter mama cows, Rhubarb and Betty, some grain for a treat. The girls and their calves are relatively new to the ranch, we have only raised Angus and Highlanders in the past. We began raising our own cattle a few years ago, when we made the decision to take control of the quality of meat we consume and to become involved in the entire process.
