A pleasure to have witnessed this artistic collaboration go from inception to peer acknowledgement; the behind-the-scenes efforts, the sweat, the fixers, editors – even the floor sweeping cleaners – who have propelled “Based on a True Story” throughout. For those who think creative endeavours MUST be singular in effort, the Lucie award for this astonishing book is proof of Godfather’s dictum that ‘becoming photography’ is easiest done by being surrounded by life.
I’m thrilled for the book’s success, its well-deserved award, and for everyone who has assisted in feeding this glorious beast!!!
