Day 6: In the cannabis warehouse – The friend I’m staying with here in Okanogan set me up for a tour of a legal, state licensed marijuana growing operation. Weed is now legal for recreational use in Washington State and the dry, sunny climate in the Okanogan valley works as well for outdoor cannabis cultivation as it does for the massive production of apples for which it is famous. Here, a worker hangs harvested plants with mature buds in a warehouse at CannaSol Farms. The farm produces a ton of weed, literally 2000 pounds of premium outdoor grown organic cannabis buds per year.
