This is the photo The Beach Magazine in Rio de Janeiro chose as their cover this week to represent some of my#beachgames work. Public showers are the norm about every 300 feet of every beach in Rio. All ages sizes shapes rinse the sea salt off together in communal good spirit.
do any of these people even know what snow is?
Akaky, of course they do. After the shower, they jetted off to Val d’Isere for a ski weekend with Remy and his aunt (pronounced ahhnt, not ant, and she doesn’t look like your ahhnt, you can count on that, bub).
mw, snow as a fashion accessory does not count, especially for those for whom snow is omnipresent

the Cariocas hardly know any temperature below 65F…a rainy day in the 70’s is considered a cold winter day and you will not see anyone come outside on those days…they do see snow on CNN
