  3. I don’t often remember birthdays but this morning I found myself remembering five years ago and the excitement of BURN’s first moments. “Sugar” – Anton’s essay on his beloved niece Birgit – lit the fire and years of compelling photographic projects have fanned the flames until BURN’s orange glow now illuminates skies across the world. Many of us lamented the passing of the more intimate Road Trips but DAH knew it was time to move on to a wider world. And he has been proven correct. It will be interesting to see where his fertile brain takes us next. Happy birthday to BURN, and thank you, David, for taking us along for the ride!

  4. Is it Burn’s birthday? Well, I’ll be dogged. It doesn’t seem that long ago, does it? Well then, Happy birthday, all of us, to paraphrase Tiny Tim.
