Very peaceful. I felt my blood pressure going down as I looked. I have no desire to over-analyze this essay, it achieves its purpose.

Some people hop off to wars or exciting foreign travels in search of photos and there are photographers like Lisandre who see the world in their backyard. Loved this work and I also found these images highly inspiring. Beautiful.

Congrats for the job.
It´s nice to see a project about something close to the photographer: family, friends, places… An example of it´s not necessary to go far from home to do a good essay.

Lisandre, congratulations on being published here.

There are several very lovely images here that tell your story , 6,10,11,14,and 17 work well. Unfortunately, the others do not. #1 would be a great opening shot if it weren’t so over-exposed.

There are a couple of nice photos here. Perhaps because I live in rural America, the photos are just commonplace to me. One of those things where you had to be there, I guess.
