  1. love it…brilliant…reminds me of my beloved Flannery O’connor novel Wise Blood

a great (and creepy and funny) moment….nothing else to add, but a great picture of a great moment…and the hat and the shadow just bow me over….:))

“I preach there are all kinds of truth, your truth and somebody else’s. But behind all of them there is only one truth and that is that there’s no truth…”

    well done Paul!

    cheers

  2. My very, very favorite book of all time was given to me when I was five.

It featured the original illustrations and an oh so gentle tale of life and friendship and humanity.

This photo could easily slip in between the covers of that book, ‘Wind in the Willows’

And as I sit here with my beagle and my moggie and mourn the recent passing of another four legged friend and life companion, I see this photo as a perfect addendum to that book and my furry friend Tinka’s passing.

Is that God/Pan/Byamee poking his head around the corner to see if all his creatures, great and small are well and cared for?

Thankyou for this photo, it has made me cry- but in the nicest possible way…

  3. I’ve been in love with Paul’s work for a very long time. Please visit his website. His work is from the the very bottom of his heart and soul. Thank you David, for featuring this!!

  4. Thanks for the comments everyone, and thanks to David for publishing the photo.

    PJ Hoggers – I don’t know what to say…

Hey Michal, nice to hear from you again.

“I preach there are all kinds of truth, your truth and somebody else’s. But behind all of them there is only one truth and that is that there’s no truth”

    Good quote, Bob.

    whats going on in there?
    when one image,
    can tell
    many stories…..
    love the juxtaposition
    with the museum girl portrait….
