BOB…
all i know is this…..you MUST come!!!! i just cannot believe you never made it before!!!!
abrazos, david
:)
david :))
i know, i know, it’s weird to me too….but, rest assured, it’s on the black family calendar for 2008, wherever your real kibbutz (whether at 475 or elsewhere) will be :))
running off computer now :)
abarzos :)
b
whew!!
just back from a hairball trip to Detroit. pretty wrecked, need to rest up and read up.
yep, fingers crossed. all 20. ;-)
A magical place indeed, the one time I attended a fiesta, I hope will not be the last.
Chris
Cops, authorities….time to take the authority we’ve given to them (or rather were forced to give them) back. Time for a revolution, David:) But seriously, government these days, on every level from municipal to federal is encroaching on personal rights more and more each day.
Hey Rafal, as I read it, politicians and the City (governement) weighed on the firemen to lift the ban.
Let’s look at it positively. In so many countries, personal rights are merely about landlords paying off the firemen’s investigator, to look the other way. Then, if needed, help re-elect the right politician to make the case go away, after a few dozens people died in a fire on their rented-out premises.
I truly hope this will work out. The kibbutz sounds like a wonderful place, just the kind I would want to live in. Good Luck, David and all other tenants who read this.
Best,
Michael
“The intentions have always been good on the part of the landlords,”
That should give you hope David!
Cheers, Edward
I cross my fingers, too!
Would not want to move out of there.
I hope that you and the other tenants & friends pull this one off, it sounds like a great community. I was surprised and glad to read the landlords intend to keep it going.
Joan
ALL…
update: we had a tenants meeting last night interviewing three attorneys…we chose one.
but, i think we will get back in there in about two months…or, never.
in the meantime, i cannot tell you how much i have appreciated your psychological support..and my very good neighbor Robert Clark and his wife Lai-Ling have literally put a roof over my head…
many of my friends have said things like “well, why do you even need a place? you are never at home”….yes, i do travel quite a bit, but having a “home” makes a big difference even when you are not in it…and when you are at home you “recharge the batteries” in a way that is impossible when living out of a suitcase….
i will keep you “in the loop”…
cheers, david
“but having a “home” makes a big difference even when you are not in it”
This is not “big difference”, this HUGE difference!
I hope you will find your “home” quickly.
peace for this home… we say in poland
Part of “travel” is knowing you have a home to return to. I hope all goes well for you, David. I’d love to visit sometime. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and the rest of the group. Best, Jonathan (as you use to call me. LOL.) John Fulton, Fort Worth
In the end, if you are able to move back there without the fire hazard it will have been a good thing that all of this happened. Better than it not happening and all dying in a fire, yes?
CATHY????????????
NOW YOU SOUND SO “REPUBLICAN”… but i know you are a sweetheart…!!!!!… but c’mon, now!…
VOTE FOR THE FIREFIGHTERS… YEAHHHH
Why do you have to find the “positive” side in … everything????
OHHH CATHY I FORGOT: THIS IS FOR YOU:
kiddin’ THIS IS ACTUALLY FOR ME…
sometimes i give myself the “CREEPS”… SOMETIMES MY MIND PLAYS TRICKS ON ME… AM I JUST PARANOID…
david:
remember, u always got a bed here too…and also, a place on a small island in the farthest s.w. part of florida, just below naples: if u ever need r&r (harvey, right?)…my mom has a waterfront condo and like, u need a place to get out of town: write me, i’ll hook u up: u can drink with my dad too (he’s cool too) and u can make like real romantic with ur lady :))…
keeping fingers crossed amigo…
hugs
b
